Documents required to open a current account for individuals

Indicative list of documents required to open a current account for a private individual citizen of Ukraine:
- Passport of a citizen of Ukraine / passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad;
- Unified Tax Identification Number (not required from persons who have refused the document, as indicated by a relevant note in the passport document);
- Extract from the place of residence (if the passport is in the format of an ID-card);
- Certificate of registration of an internally displaced person (for internally displaced persons);
- Documentary confirmation of the source of funds for financial transactions (at the request of a Bank employee).
Documents that may be submitted to the Bank to confirm the source of funds:
For salary recipients:
Certificate OK-7 or OK-5 (for employees)
- in electronic form - on the Diia website or on the portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
- in paper form - contact the Pension Fund. The certificate must bear the stamp and signature of the state body.
For pension recipients:
Pension certificate
- in electronic form - on the portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
- in paper form - contact the Pension Fund. The certificate must contain the stamp and signature of the state body.
For entrepreneurs:
Tax declaration of individual entrepreneurs
- in electronic form - in the personal account of the tax service;
- in paper form - contact the State Tax Service of Ukraine. The tax return must be stamped by the controlling authority as having been received.
The above list of documents contains the most common examples of documentary confirmation of the source of funds and is not comprehensive.
